Many of the votes she received were not actually legal votes, because the states where she won were the states where no voter ID was required. In all the states where it was required, Harris lost, and lost by a lot , pretty much.
Because they have put all of the illegals in our cities and they were allowed to vote with no ID, she was able to get votes that way. Plus, the Harris campaign was bussing people in to vote, and hauling them from place to place in the swing states, so the same people could vote over and over again.
If we had only legitimate US citizens voting, Harris would have gotten very few votes, and even her supporters did not turn out to vote for her because they believed she was ahead and winning, and they didn’t need to actually vote.

This is all about to change once Trump is back in office. He will stop handing out the money and free food and hotels and many of the illegals will just leave, concerned that they might be forced to leave.
If they leave on their own, they can send money back home and take their belongings with them, but if they wait until they are moved out by ICE, they will lose whatever they have here in the US.

Trump will also make voter ID mandatory, so the non-citizens will not be able to vote, even if they are here legally with a green card. The next election, in 2 years, we will weed out the RINOS, so by 2028, we should have real elections again, and the people who committed fraud in 2020 and 2024 will be in prison or moved away from the US.

Thanks for the new song in my head,:D. I like your optimism Yvonne and pray your right.
Although I'm not o[timistic, consider myself more of a realist, but we realist don't always live in reality, neither do optimist,
Art Mortel used to have this little saying,
" The optimistic child sees a horse stall full of horse manure, he jumps with joy, saying there has to be a pony in here somewhere.
The pessimist child sees a room full of candy and toys, whines saying if I play with the toys, I may tear them up, if I eat the candy, it will be gone".
I think the optimist is the lucky one who at least is happy for a while, the pessimist is always looking for the bad. Yet we don't want an optimist for a general. Nor a pessimist for a wedding.

I don't believe that Trump will be able to make voter ID mandatory; that is a state's rights issue. Interestingly, the "voter ID map" looks remarkably like the election map from Tuesday. o_O

Beth this didn't just happen by chance. We got woke and went broke, ignoring what made us great while zooming in on our faults.
No nation can't survive an apathetic citizenry for long.
All Western nations now have this illness of self-loathing, look at Europe, and Scandinavia all being invaded in the name of ' diversity ' the third world from South America, Asia, Middle East, India has somehow become the dependents of the Caucasian nations that are also the only bad race now on earth. Because we owned slaves like every other nation on the planet, we are bad, therefore will never stop paying our debt.
If we don't give them a free ride and total support, we are racist or intolerant non-Christian bigots. You don't have to loath yourself to care for others nor do you have to bow to respect others.
Another song, The Twilight Zone comes to mind.

Maine has a citizen "question" policy in which citizens can make laws via "questions" on the ballot. At the polling places this year, signatures were collected to require voter ID in elections. If enough signatures are collected, it will be on the ballot during the next election. If passed, it becomes law. The way it is supposed to work is that neither the state legislature nor the governor has the power to overrule the referendum that passed on election day, but in practice, they have managed to find a way around it sometimes.

Currently, in Maine, while no ID is required, you are required to state your name and address, which are matched with the voter registration list, and check off to avoid multiple voting. If your name and address do not appear on the voter registration, you can register at the polling place, but your ballot is provisional until verified. Although the registrar knows who I am and where I live, I must still state my name and address.

The major problem in Maine is the voter registration list. Since the Democrats have controlled the Secretary of State's office, local registrars have been prohibited from removing names from the list. Our registrar showed me the letter from the Secretary of State's office mandating that names not be removed from the list. Thus, people on the voter registration list are known to have died, moved to another city or state, or are registered at multiple addresses.

A few years ago, we examined the list and found people who first registered to vote while living at their parent's house, re-registered when they moved into an apartment, re-registered again when they bought a house, and so on. One person was registered to vote at four different addresses in Millinocket. Whether he actually casts four votes, I don't know, but the potential is there. Additionally, there were a bunch of people who were registered to vote with a PO Box and no physical address.

Before the Democrats took control of the Secretary of State office, the registrar would remove people who had died or who were known to have moved to another state; in fact, she said they checked to see if they were registered to vote in the new state since some people temporarily reside in another state while retaining a Maine address. Voter registration laws require a physical address, yet the Secretary of State's office prohibits the removal of those who registered to vote via a PO Box.

I hope your prediction is true @Yvonne Smith. The Dems have been bussing people from state to state for a number of years for Presidential elections--at least since 2000 when they were caught in Indiana, Illinois and perhaps Wisconsin ( I can't recall the specifics). That is largely why they are so set against voter ID and the purging of the voter rolls, yet they don't mind photo ID for flying, driver's license, buying alcohol or cannabis, etc. Those don't affect their access to power.

I would like us to adopt a national language, and I wouldn't oppose two languages as Canada has. I don't think we should accommodate the native languages of everyone who lives here. The biggest issue for me is juries. How can citizens who cannot speak or understand testimony in a courtroom deliver a valid verdict? Perhaps jury members can't even understand each other in deliberation. Every other country that I have been to has a national--or perhaps two, and in Switzerland three--national language(s) except the U.S. Ballots should only be published in that/those languages and translation should not be required. Of course, whatever language is used in regular life should not be regulated, just for official purposes. I knew someone who dealt with the Chinese and she could speak 8 Chinese dialects--separate languages really--but the national language of the Chinese nation is Mandarin and everyone must use that in official business and it is the language taught in schools. I believe the situation is similar in India as well but perhaps someone else could speak to that. I think India has two official languages--Hindi and English.

Don what percentage of the population would have to speak 2 or 3 languages? And which 2 or 3 would we have to teach?
I understand we live in a different world but is it a better world?
Next we will have to learn all the Asian languages of the Middle East, China, etc.
Also, much of the world now speaks English as either first or second language.

I think it would be English and Spanish for official languages. The American Southwest, and maybe even Florida, were under Spanish control far longer than they have been American states, thus there are many bilingual people there. At the time of the Constitution, official languages were discussed, and the second language at that time was German.

I also would like to have an election weekend--Saturday and Sunday, or Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No early voting other than that and absentee ballots for those who really require them, like the military deployed overseas, diplomats and their families, and workers who cannot get to the polls on the available days, such as some first responders and hospital workers.

I guess it doesn't matter anymore now that we are multicultural. We can all just do sign language.:p

Kamala paid Oprah Winfrey $1 Million to interview her. I'll bet Trump got a better deal out of Rogan.

The Democrat donors are really coming down hard on the way Harris spent their money and still lost. The Democrats are saying she needed a longer campaign, but she did zero press conferences and very few real interviews. I don't think a longer campaign would have helped her at all. except that she could try to preempt more of Trump's ideas that she in no way believed in.

It is not looking good at all for Harris at this point. She had over a billion dollars, and ended up with owing over $20 million, and her workers are saying that they haven’t been paid.
If you add up the amounts she paid for entertainers like Oprah and Beyoncé, and the others, it comes out to be about the $20 she overspent. Also, apparently, since she paid those celebrities to appear, (even thought they said they were trying to save democracy, they wanted millions to help out), it has to be shown as a paid political ad, and if that is not disclosed, then someone is going to be in trouble for breaking the law.

Trump pointed out how much she had overspent, and that her vendors were not paid either, so it sounds like she is going to have to find a lot of money just to break even.
This is exactly how she would have been managing the USA finances had she won !
