I received this from one of my email buddies yesterday. Not a very pleasant thought, but then the events that are happening right now seem to prove his words. Remember, socialism leads to Communism. So, how do you create a Socialistic State? There are 8 levels of control; read the following recipe: 1) Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people. 2) Poverty - Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them. 3) Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty. 4) Gun Control - Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government That way you are able to create a police state. 5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect (food, housing, income) of their lives because that will make them fully dependent on the government. 6) Education - Take control of what people read and listen to and take control of what children learn in school. 7) Religion - Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools because the people need to believe in ONLY the government knowing what is best for the people. 8) Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the wealthy with the support of the poor ADD Saul Alinsky's Rules for radicals A perfect parallel to what is happening right now!!!!!
People have characterized ME as a socialist and I'm not .buying all that. Libertarian-style capitalism leaves behind a large class of people who have hopeless lives. We need a little socialism to keep the poor alive. I know most or all of the people posting on this topic will strongly disagree with me, but that's okay.I don't need absolutely everybody to like me.
Thoughts on "The 8 levels of control": There are 8 levels of control; read the following recipe: 1) Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people. The alternative to 'controlled healthcare' is free-market healthcare, in which, if you can't afford it, you die. That's 'controlling the people' for sure. 2) Poverty - Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them. The opposite is true. Resistance to government is more likely to come from the dispossessed than those that are comfortable. 3) Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty. There are two facets here. 1)Who causes the debt and 2) who benefits from it? The 'causers' may be a bunch of slack-minded liberals who spend more than the budget takes in to benefit the lower class, but those who benefit most are the banks, domestic and foreign, who loan to governments. These are exactly the people Kruschev would oppose. They are not friends of Communism. 4) Gun Control - Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government That way you are able to create a police state. There is truth in this. 5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect (food, housing, income) of their lives because that will make them fully dependent on the government. That's pretty much a restatement of the healthcare issue mentioned above, just not including healthcare in the list. Leaving people to compete in the free market with nothing to fall back on should they fail, ensures poverty, homelessness or death for many. Is this Darwinian weeding out a complete necessity for the free market to work? Where is God's mercy in all this? Is it to come only from those wealthy who choose to help the poor? That's liable to be very inadequate. 6) Education - Take control of what people read and listen to and take control of what children learn in school. That children may learn things in school that make them skeptical of those in power is a good thing. The alternative, teaching only subservience to the rulers, is a good definition of the police state conservatives claim they are working to prevent. 7) Religion - Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools because the people need to believe in ONLY the government knowing what is best for the people. Which God? Of course conservatives mean the Christian/Jewish God. The Muslim God need not apply. This also suggests that any agnostic or atheist must be a Communist and any Communist must be an agnostic or atheist. Is it really impossible for a person without strong religious beliefs to be anything other than a Communist? 8) Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the wealthy with the support of the poor. The wealthy and the poor already have been divided for millennia in every culture. It doesn't need to be done like it's something new. I do agree on the importance of the middle class. The wealthy run this country. There is more input today from the middle class and poor than in past times, but it is still a rich man's game, and the wealthy are unlikely to increase their own taxes.
