The train track encircled the entire perimeter of the property, passing over a real wood-timber trestle under which cars drove to enter the parking garage. Track gauge was about 36 inches, plenty large for a train carrying people comfortably. Riding it was free. The "station" was directly in front of the hotel casino. We rode it as far back at the early 1990's. It was a highlight of any visit to Laughlin. The hotel's decorum was an entire presentation of early historical photographs of railroad memorabilia, including things like details of construction of the country's great railroad stations dating back over 100 years. Then called "Tropicana Express", ownership changed, as did operating philosophies, and all RR memorabilia was removed, including the train, sadly.
