Okay, well at least we got to the bottom of it , and you now know that the book is indeed available in Kindle format. When I go to Amazon to look for books, I select the “kindle store” choice, and that way every book I see shows me the kindle edition.
If you just type in a title search, they often come up with the print edition, but if you read the small print, it will say other editions, like kindle, paperback, audible, etc.

    • A correction I probally should make. I said I but saw T.V preentation. The name of that movie was
    • Needful Thing. Very good. I read Stephen King's book "On Writing" twice, sort of a memoir of the way nhe does things and some advice to would be writers.
    • I have started king's the Green mile. At least I have read Things I probably should know or slomething like that and the forward. I'm a slow reader and like everybode, have chores to do, get tired, rub my eyes, and lay the book aside. Each both, to me, is sort of a journey. New places to go, new things to see, strangers waiting
    • To become my new friends.
    • Again, to those who recommended, thanks.

    "The Green Mile" Stephen King

Free and online. No log in, no sign up - don't know if the entire book is there. Checked up to Part Two.

"The Green Mile" isn't the type of book that Stephen King writes. I don't care for his strange (and mostly bloody) type of books, but The Green Mile" isn't like that. There is a bit of supernatural, but just a touch. Very well done.

He also wrote "Shawshank Redemption," which I think most people have either seen the movie or read the book. I've done both. It is excellent, with no strange supernatural scenes, or anything bloody. I think you would enjoy that as well.

I am reading The Talisman right now, which is another Stephen King book, a collaboration with Peter Strauss, I believe. I think it is a little bit dated, but I am enjoying it very much.

    Have fun reading.

Years ago I was a huge Stephen King fan and waited anxiously for every new release... so I've pretty much read them all--the good, the bad, and the cringe-worthy. One of my favorites is 11/22/63, about a time traveler who attempts to prevent the assassination of President Kennedy which occurred on November 22, 1963.

I am no longer so enthralled with King as he is one who believes his celebrity makes his political views relevant. Good writer; bad politics.

Has anyone been to the maagic shop?
I suppose it was a book. I'm listen to the disc,
    "Into The Magic Shop"
    The Neurosurgeon"s Quest to discover
    The Mysteries of the Brain
and the Secrets of the Heart.

My room mate asked me to listen to at least
the first two tapes. I finished tape one and
look forward to tape two. This may be a little
juvenile for you but I'm enjoying it. It is a little
    bit like magic to me.

Read by James R Doty, MD.

@Bill Boggs , I bought "The Green Mile" for my Kindle today. It has been many years since I read it so I thought it would be worth reading again. I scrolled on by all that crap at the beginning and started reading the story. So far, it's as good as I remember it being. When you get to the end, I have a question I want to ask you.

I haven't heard of "Into the Magic Shop". Sounds interesting.

@Shirley Martin, I haven't started the Green Mile other than what I said earlier. I had promised my wife I would listen to
the first two disc of 'Into The Magic Shop", and I just now finished the second dest. It is an introduction into meditation
but what I most enjoyed about it was in the story telling.Marvelous. It is a non-fiction and the catIegories is Phychology.
I may go back a listen to the last four tapes, maybe not. So hold your thoughts and after awhile, after have read it, we
will discuss whatever. Is that what you are saying? Later.

Yes. It will take me a while to read it. My reading time is limited nowadays.

It left me pondering something that I think you might ponder, too.
