Is much of our stress and mental health deterioration self imposed? Do we need that prestigious car costing us enormous monthly repayments? There are millions of cheap, reliable second hand motors for cash sale.
Why borrow money to buy a washing machine when you can save up and have your old one repaired?
I saw an example of a £250 mediocre washing machine in a shop window that was going to cost £800 to buy on credit.
We have become lured into the damaging world of debt, that creates stress and comfort eating, which in turns results in chronic illness.Unfortunately younger generations accept the hazards as normal.

    Interesting post
Heard so many people dismiss mental conditions as self inflicted. Even though we had our hardships, through it all
we had a sense of community. That's gone, along with self worth.
Too much negativity today. Too much bullying in the media/TV, which encourages the same.
I could go on and on - all I know is, I'm thankful to have lived my younger days where I saw optimism and many happy faces.
