Am sad to see that the family has taken down all the posts because of the death threats aimed against this girl

I'm not questioning the claim the family made, but I wonder if they have any proof. It would be interstate & minor child, therefore an FBI issue, wouldn't it? They can trace anyone who made cell phone or internet threats. We can't bully or speak 'hate', so surely this would be a major offense.

 

Sad if true, but unfortunately there is that lunatic fringe on both the liberal and conservative sides.

Will the real AOC stand up and condemn the people who made theses death threats.

 

I suppose my age is showing, but I would never allow my child to post any photos or videos on the internet, especially at such a young age. Are people so desperate for that bit of attention (or whatever they get out of it)? The girl is cute, but she seems too "coached" and not precocious enough to have come up with this on her own... so maybe the father has pushed too hard for his 15 minutes of fame.

 

I totally agree. My 11 year old grandson has his own gamer channel on Youtube. He now has sponsors who send him free gaming things to try out. His parents think I'm an idiot for being so worried about this.

Just a small correction if you please. She, in her second or third video said that her “parents” scripted the whole of it (Paraphrased of course) which makes the father, only half guilty of the deed. The mother was responsible too.
In other words, it wasn’t just His 15 minutes of fame.

 

I was going by the video above, in which she says "my dad and my uncle thought I should start making videos." No mention of mom; not that it matters in the least.

 

Regardless of who scripted the videos, there is no excuse for some nutcase to threaten to kill the family.

A person could make a video saying President Trump is a lying, thieving, whoring, son-of-a-bitch and that person would still not deserve death threats.

 

I believe we are all in agreement that the death threats are wrong.
