I just want to share our miracle berry. It is a small plant that bears red fruits. The fruit is actually just the seed or pit and rind or skin. In other words, there's nothing to eat except the red skin. But after eating the miracle berry, your mouth will have the sweet taste for 2 hours or so. Whatever you eat within that 2 hours would taste sweet no matter what it is. As a sample, we tried fresh lemon which tasted sweeter than orange. Even the green mango that is sour tasted sweet.

Here is the pic of our miracle berry that I took this morning - IMG_9507 miracle berry.jpg

Corie, what is the name of that berry/ plant? That would be great for those of us who are eating low carb.
