If we remember history and what the German’s did during WW2 was to burn any book that would go against what their philosophy was. Now with technology a new problem of control starts. Books are digitised and stored in many places. We have a new group call content providers [modern authors] bring forth a mired of information. Now comes the censorship and who should be censored with the internet of things it has been difficult but they are trying. As Google and youtube twitter are so large they are basically a monopoly. They have been given the job of censoring [book burning]. They have set out to stop in any why people that they disagree with by demonetizing their work or hiding it from search results. You are demonetized for saying certain words like Muslin terrorist, Hillary, any kind of gate. But if you promote sex trade in perverted forms, anti right rhetoric or anti Trump your good to go. They lost the control over the internet and free expression and now they want it back. Censorship is one group telling another what they can think or do. The modern day book burning has started.
Well it seems there's always something. Its an imperfect world and about all we can do is go on and do our thing. We can't change the world or few people's minds anyway so might as well ignore that nonsense that don't fit in our own basket. At least that's the way I see it.
When we loose the ability to hear both sides of anything we loose the ability to have good judgement.
The real problem today is that there is no longer "both sides"...there are so many sides and we are not "allowed" to have "good judgement" anymore...or "common sense" for that matter. There used to be just right and wrong, now there is no right or wrong, there used to be good or bad now there is anything goes, there used to be truth and lies but now anything goes.... School books have been rewriting History, etc. for years now, they don't have to burn the books anymore...they just erase and rewrite them.
The only news service that has been proved 100% accurate is wikileaks who has no charges against him but must hide because certain governments don't want the truth out.
