Being from Blighty I did think it was a waste of time but what was interesting how some in the American Media spun it up to tell Americans how the Russians controlled you lot.
It isn’t as far fetched as one might think Tom. It wasn’t too long ago when portions of our government led by Obama thought that they could swing the vote in Israel against Netanyahu. But of course it goes without saying, that it is horrifying to think that anyone would mess with our elections the same way we do to other nations. (Whoever the WE is in our nation)
The only evidence I have seen of the Russians meddling in US elections was a claim that they bought some Facebook ads.

I heard one of the TV commentators say, "How could they let Trump off the hook?". The report hasn't been released yet, but I guess they assume there is nothing there, and that their hopes are dashed.
I am sure the people who placed so much importance on the report will continue to try to save their reputation, but it appears the "worm" may be turning now. We'll see. From the clips played, you can see the how the stories are coordinated as the exact same phrases and wording is used by multiple outlets.
