Recently watched "Alias Grace." Fast-forwarded through a few scenes, but enjoyed almost all of it. Some very attractive male actors, especially the white-haired guy. Just finished Season 2 of "The Kominsky Method." Loved it, minus a few raunchy scenes.
I'm starting it in the morning!!! I decided to resubscribe to Netflix just to watch it. I generally rotate streaming channels, except for a couple I always keep. I'm really looking forward to it. I'll let you know how I liked it.
I'm watching Season 3 of The Crown. I must admit that the "new" cast is underwhelming. I guess I don't like change, but I much preferred the cast of the first two seasons, with the exception of Prince Phillip. That first actor was semi-creepy. (Season 4 is supposed to be all about Princess Diana...ooooh.)
I absolutely loved The Kominsky Method. I hope it returns for another season. On Netflix, I also liked the series "Unbelievable." Merritt Weaver and Toni Colette are an incredible pair of actresses. And the story is heartbreaking and fascinating. I like police procedurals, but this was the best of the lot, IMO. What a story!
Cancelled Netflix when my son got the Fire Stick. Watch a lot of Pluto and Sling now, mostly movies. Really not a big TV fan.
Recently watched a hilarious British series "Man Down" on Netflix. Not sure if it's everyone's cup of tea but made me laugh quite a bit.
Most of those British comedies are hilarious. I am going to invest in Britbox as I think it is worth it. Love them.
I have never subscribed to Hulu so not sure what all the may offer. I know Netflix has a ton of new content they produce and with a supposed 150 million plus subscribers at a minimum of $8 a month they should continue with lots of new self produced content.
I had Hulu for several months and never found much of anything I wanted to watch. I'm sure you can get a free trial if you want to check it out. If choosing Netflix or Hulu, I'd go with Netflix hands down.
Had Neflix, but ended subscription because we already have a number of the movies shown on it. However, there were two Series that we did watch: The Ranch and Grace & Frankie. Neither of them would we buy the Series on DVD!
For anyone who has Amazon Prime, they have a wonderful sale on a lot of the streaming channels. Half off for 3 months and you can cancel anytime before the 3 months is up. I'm having a really great time with this!!!
Amazon Prime has the hilarious series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Worth getting it just for that. I just started watching a new series on Netflix, which they just started showing today. It's called "Messiah." So far, it's very intriguing.
