I always watch a particular movie site and MOST of the movies I watch have subtitle as an option, BUT today , suddenly the subtitles option was NOT there. This occurs ONLY on that particular movie site. All other sites, like youtube their IS an option for subtitles. Does anyone have any idea why ? Something wrong with my laptop ? Problem at the movie site ? Thank you
Does your television have that subtitle setting option? I think is 'caption' something usually for hearing impaired but I find it very useful when I'm watching a movie where the accents are really strong and I can't understand what is being said.
I did not go on the site. When I just search on "flixtor," I get a bunch of results with different web address extensions (tv, io, se, win.) I did not try to go to any of them. The only thing I could find that made any sense (this is a new world to me) is to wait for the entire movie to download before you start watching. There are other suggestions when you search on "flixtor subtitles not working" but they seem to be for programmers and those who are casting the movie to their tv.
Since the problem only occurs with the one specific website, the problem seems like it would be with that site and nothing to do with the Chromebook, because the subtitle option is working everywhere else. I have no experience with this situation because I have never used anything except youtube or amazon for a video, but it seems logical that if only one movie site is not working right, the problem is with that website.
I agree with Yvonne; sounds like a setting or website issue. Is there a Help button on their main page or any support options? Can you check your account settings to see if anything changed?
