One of my favorite cocktails is an "Old Fashion." It is not high on the list for most people and probably few of the younger group have never even heard of it. You just take a shot of some good bourbon, muddle a sugar cube in it (muddle only means mix, but sounds good), a drop or two of bitters, add some ice, a splash of soda water and top it off with a cherry. Pretty easy but if you order it in a lounge, you will probably get some strange looks if your bartender is less than 40 or 50 years old!
