This morning after 45 minutes of free weight exercize I'm cranking away the miles on a stationary bike listening to a TV station on the bike monitor. On comes an advertisement for a doctor prescribed drug with a name I can't begin to pronounce. I don't remember what it was designed to do. Whatever it was for there were people smiling and happy to have it & be using it. Then came the list of side effects that were worse than whatever it was supposed to help. That has become pretty typical. What made me laugh. The advice to consult your doctor before taking the drug. Uh wouldn't your doctor think to discuss the side effects before prescribing?
I know!!! They had one out for depression and the side effect was possible suicidal tendencies. Another drug advertisement said quite clearly not to take it if you are allergic to it or it could cause a life threatening reaction. Well, until you actually TAKE it, how would you know? Scary stuff.
