Does anyone use this facility ? I have for many years, its a convenient way to pay for online shopping The past few days after a blip on my laptop, I have been unable to make a payment this way Anyone else experienced the same ?
My employer pays me through PayPal and my PayPal debit card is what I use for pretty much everything. After you've been a member for a while, it's pretty easy to qualify for up to a $10,000 signature loan. Actually, I don't know how easy it is for someone who doesn't have a long history of receiving payments through PayPal. PayPal has been my main bank for more than a decade now.
I have used PayPal for many years as well, and with no problems. However, for some unknown reason, PayPal switched me from paying with my paypal account to paying from my checking account instead of using the paypal funds first, and the checking account as a backup. When I went into my payment settings, I changed it back so that the paypal funds are where it pays from first. I am not sure what is happening with your account, @Patsy Faye , but I think that going to your payment settings and making sure that they are all correct is a good place to start. I also have the Paypal debit card, and have never had any problem using that for paying, either online or at a regular store.
I phoned Paypal and they could see no reason why I can't pay for items They suggested I clear cookies, so I did, no good - if that didn't work to change browser, I tried that and could make a payment for items, but I like my original browser and don't want to have to start again with a new one
Patsy, try closing everything and restarting your laptop to see if that clears things up. Have you had the problem on a single website or more than one? Which browser is having the issue? You might need to update or reload the browser.
Thanks Beth - yes, did updates and restart Happened with 4 shops over a couple of days - tried again today, no good I use Explorer 11 - Windows 10 @Beth Gallagher
@Beth Gallagher - no dice Beth, all that has been suggested, we've done In fact, we do updates and restarts on a regular basis so see no reason for this mishap, in the meantime PayPal will have to forego my custom Thank you so much for being a helpful buddy
