When I am asked why I no longer drive and use a walker this chart is easier than trying to explain PN I have it in both feet and legs.
Thanks @Lon Tanner I have some of the same problems but from high blood sugar. Last month or so, my feet have just been annoying. I make myself take a daily walk anyway, but sometimes I sure don't want to.
Good for you Bess.. It's important to keep exercising with walks even though it's uncomfortable. High Blood Sugar is just one of a number of conditions that can cause PN. Mine is caused by Lymphoma. Diabetics can have PN.
My PN is a result of shingles virus damaging my left side leaving me with MS symptoms, but not MS as it isn't progressive. Lost left side hearing, eyesight, and balance. I recovered my balance using exercises and walking with poles until I didn't need them anymore.
Only others that have the conditions of Peripheral Neuropathy truly understand the daily pain and discomfort associated with the condition. It's impossible to explain to others.
It is not only painful, but my balance could be better. Sometime it looks like I am drunk when I am walking. I live with it though.
