Police Evict Street People From Public Park

A scattering of homeless squatters have been disgracing beautiful Echo Park in Los Angeles.

One is holding a sign that says "Housing Is A Human Right".

He's wrong. Shelter is a human right...housing is a Luxury.

Whilst I might personally agree with you, the U.N. and the Human Rights Laws which we are signed into, do not.
In short, the fellow with the sign is correct.

UN and Human Rights should change their laws with the current times. They are so outdated!

We would do well to get out of the U.N. altogether and I do agree with you. I believe the Human Rights / housing issue was built to lay a foundation for development in 3rd world countries but one can’t enforce an edict without abiding by it also.
BUT, let’s get real. Our U.S. law makers are famous for making laws and having them enforced on the citizenry without toeing the same line they set.
