One of the most amazing drummers in Pop and Rock history lost his fight for life today. Ginger Baker of the Rock band Cream, died aged 80..R.I.P
I think many people might smoke and drink as he did if they thought they would get to 80 years old, and have a great time..as he did!!
I’m not attempting to de-rail the thread but Rip Taylor, the confetti throwing comedian, also died today at the age of 84. May G. Baker and R. Taylor Rest In Peace. In their own different ways, they both made people feel just a little bit happier.
G. Baker would be Ginger Baker and R. Taylor would be Rip Taylor. I didn’t want to write, RIP Rip Taylor hence the abbreviated first names.
Sorry Bobby, I wasn't with it..raging toothache at the time was making my brain spin . Of course G Baker is Ginger... but I still don't know (even after googling) who Rip Taylor was !!

an hour and a quarter in the dentist chair today. Horrible!! pro..she didn't feel the tooth had to come out and she is delighted how good condition my teeth are, no plaque etc.. but the gum is receding so a nerve is exposed. So after 2 injections in my mouth, she's applied 2 coats of what they call a Bonded Resin around the base of the tooth and the gum in the hope that it will stop the pain. I was shaking so much that they had to get me a glucose drink *ugh* .... My husband calls me an ''brave Injun'' when it comes to all my other pains , but honestly I'm such a baby when it comes to dentists!!
The visualization is enough for me. The only thing I have ever feared in my life is a dentist.. Along with your husband I too believe you are indeed a “brave injun” just to knock on the door much less sit in the seat in front of someone who is either genetically related to The Marquis De Sade or someone who admires his workmanship. At least you have your teeth which makes you much braver than I. I got them all pulled just so I wouldn’t have to see another dentist for the rest of my life.
