My Congressman Grothman is introducing a bill to raise the limit on earned income to $30,000 for seniors so they don't lose the $1 of their social security money for every two dollars of earned income. I wonder how many who are sitting home might go to work because of this. I have thought about it but my choices might be limited. But back about 5 years, I might have used this law.

I feel most seniors have has enough work , but my cousin still works and she has major heart problems but likes her job. She works at Publix.
I think many seniors miss their job.

I agree, Mary. Anyone willing and able to work should not be penalized AT ALL for doing so. It still infuriates me that we have to pay income tax on SS. That is total bullshit.

I hope I never again have to work at a job to support myself. I do not miss one single solitary thing about it, except the money.
