I repeated the title as it is on YouTube and was forwarded to me. I don't think it's chicken. It may be fresh dead frog legs that can move when salted. Don't know why. All I know is, my appetite would be pretty much gone.
OMG !!! what the hell is that? if it was animal by the time it got to that stage it would have been dead anyway....
I think frog legs. This is the explanation as per a science site: Did you know that detached frog legs start to twitch with just a pinch of salt? ... Sodium ions present in the applied salt behave like signals from the brain and cause the nerves to fire. Since there is still a source of energy left in the cells, the muscles contract in response to the signal and thus the legs “dance.”
Could be really fun if you have dinner guests you don't like.....or at Halloween. Do they see frog legs in Scotland? In the USA, there are only some areas where they are available to buy (cooked or raw), but if you live in the right type of area, you can go out at night and gig your own. We used to do that as teenagers.
My guess is a very well done Stop Motion Animation combined with some action shots (falling). Frog legs can twitch, but they don't move that much.
@Nancy Hart You could be right. Here's a vid with actual legs that certainly move quite a bit, but not off the table. (One looks a bit obscene,,,)
