I am not very good at recognizing actors in movies and television series. More often than not, I don't know their names because I prefer to think of them as who they are in the show, and I've never been the fan club kind of guy. Yet, it makes me feel good when I recognize someone years after I had seen them in anything. For the past couple of days, I have been binge-watching Little House in the Prairie for something like the tenth time, and there was Johnny Crawford as an adult, playing the part of a trapper in episode ten, season three.
Wife and I remember meeting Hugh O'Brian, aka Wyatt Earp in the tv series The Life And Legend Of Wyatt Earp. He was in a celebrity tent at a Western event in Norco, California called End of Trail. And, he was also in a movie with John Wayne called The Shootist. Now, if you really want to see some of the old Western stars of years ago, watch the movie The Gambler Returns-Luck of the Draw w/Kenny Rogers and Reba McEntire.
I don't watch a lot of TV, especially series. So when channel surfing a while back I was surprised to see a grown-up Lucas Black starring on NCIS-New Orleans. He was the kid in one of my favorite movies of all time, "Sling Blade" with Billy Bob Thornton. The grownup Lucas looks and sounds very much like he did as that kid back in the 1990s. (Incidentally, Thorton wrote, directed and starred in "Sling Blade" which also starred John Ritter, Robert Duvall, and Dwight Yoakum. A real sleeper of a movie. )
Robert Sean Leonard He played Dr. Wilson in the TV series House. He was also in Dead Poets Society. But my experience was the reverse. I saw House first, then Dead Poets Society.
I watched Dallas but I don't ever remember Patrick Duffy looking that young tbh, he's looking good now at 70, ... but in these days of Facial aesthetics and Plastic surgery it's hard to show a real ''then and now'' comparison photo Here's one...
Neither look like they've had anything done and Henry will always be gorgeous - he's just a special guy in a world of losers Bobby looks well
It is nice to see actors aging good or badly like the rest of us. I stopped giving out many compliments when working as a cosmetic advisor, because so many had plastic surgery or tweaked here and there. If you remove the lines, the blotches, the sag and other aging features- you have a plastic doll without a past
There is a site that shows celebrities that have aged gracefully.. that is no plastic surgery. I will post one then and now. This famous actress.
