The re-decorating of my grandson Oliver's bedroom is virtually finished, the new carpet is coming next Tuesday and a new wardrobe and desk on Wednesday. I have to fit his monitor and Playstation to the wall, plus a few other odds and ends before then. Here are a few photos of before and after: The old furniture The current state
@Terry Page The heater on the wall (radiator?), is it hot water, or steam? Of course, I would ask something irrelevant to the OP, if it could be of a technical nature. Just wonder, since it is unlike any I've seen before. Ignore if I'm too intrusive! Frank
Yes @Frank Sanoica it's a heating radiator, water filled and part of the central heating system which in our case consists of 10 radiators a 30 gallon hot water storage tank for washing etc, and a gas boiler sited in what was the garage, though I converted it into a cinema (movie theatre) some years ago. This type of heating is the most common system used in the UK , though instead of the old boiler I have, which was installed in 1985, and somehow manage to keep running......, more efficient combi/condensing boilers are used, though they have a relatively short life span and are expensive.
