I first started listening to Rush when he broadcast out of Sacramento, California. I enjoyed listening to his commentary over the years despite not always agreeing with him.
I listened to him a few times, but wasn't a major fan. He would simply be too "mouthy" for me! But, then again, sometimes I can be the same way. LOL
I think that we have lost a great radio personality , and a wonderful patriot for America; but knowing that he was dying of cancer didn’t stop the people who didn’t like him from attacking Rush right up until the time of his death. I am so glad that our President Trump was able to have Rush receive the Medal of Freedom when he gave the State of the Union Address, and you could see that Rush was moved to tears.
We may dislike a person' comments and we are allowed to continuing disliking what he / she said while alive. What we can not do is to disrespect the fact the person passed as The view's crew did....it was despicable
Excellent comment, @Silvia Benoit , and I agree completely with what you wrote. There is a HUGE difference between disagreeing with what someone says and with disliking that person as a human being. It is interesting to see the difference in the responses when RBG passed away, and even though people disagreed with some of her views, we did not disrespect her as a person, and President Trump paid tribute to her as well. Now, with the sad passing of Rush Limbaugh, we see people filled with hatred for a human being, only because they disagreed with that person’s opinions.
