We have 15,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and it's been reported that Russia is paying a bounty to the Taliban for every American they kill. Question? What do we hope to accomplish with our presence there? How will Trump handle this.
You probably heard that from CNN or some other fake news place. It has turned out (like just about everything else that CNN says) to be wrong reporting. It was actually back in 2010 then this happened, and it was not Russia that was paying, it was Iran, and was involved with the Taliban. I found an interesting thread on Twitter this morning, regarding what the Iranian people think about our election, as well as their opinion of both Trump and Obama. Our Iranian friend has been against Trump since before he was elected, and was sure that if Trump became president that he would start deporting all people from Iran who are in America, even when they have lived here for many years. Obviously, that didn’t happen, since our friend is still here, and still making trips back and forth to his home country when he wants to do that. From reading this Twitter thread (this is just one tweet from a whole thread of different Iranian posters ), it is pretty obvious that they are supporting Trump.
