    Does anyone play it?

They do it every year but Ive never bothered. It just started and today I decided to give it a try. You can do it online or the regular way.

It looks confusing and I don't know if I should even bother, although at first glance I did receive one instant $5 grocery gift card.

If anybody has played it...is it worth it or not?

@Krissttina Isobe ...I think you shop at Safeway, don't you in Hawaii?

While I'm at it...sorry to hear about your mom passing. :(

I plan on going to Safeway tomorrow. I have seen the game and got the card but never paid any attention to it. I never win anything, so I don't think I'll bother.

Albertson's has Monopoly games over here. They give customers a Monopoly board but there are prizes you can win instead of real estate, etc on the real board game. The you get monopoly tickets when you buy things in the store...sometimes double tickets, etc. You match them to the prizes on the board and if you fill in all the tickets for each prize then you will that prize.

The tickets also let you win more free tickets, free grocery items, etc. I play it every year and have never won any big prizes but lots of free groceries and free red box movies, etc.

A new game is starting again now...and my daughters give me all their tickets too. If we win the big money prizes we will split this...but they always want me to keep the free food and small stuff. :) I'm fine with that.

Thanks, I guess I'll play. Will definitely cash in the $5 instant win. I go almost every other day so who knows what I'll get...

I opened my tickets we got from stopping at Albertson's today and I won a bottle of 100 Aspirin, a can of tomato sauce, and a donut or bagel. From Shutterfly I won a free Photo Magnet, a free 8x8 Photo Book, and a free Reusable shopping bag.

I'm just starting this game and I am already a winner. :)

Not too sure yet what I'm doing though, lol.

Think I got two tickets to enter the sweepstakes...I think.

I didn't even get offered the Monopoly ticket when I went through the self checkout. There was a younger individual working the self checkout. I scanned, "skipped bagging" and put back in my cart the case of Spindrift Seltzer I purchased. This little punk ran over looking at my screen and questioning if I had scanned it. He must be new and was out to catch someone stealing. If I see this punk there again, I'm not going through self checkout.

I don't really use the self checkout but if you do...then your receipt should show how many Monopoly tickets they owe you...and I'm sure all you have to do is show them your receipt and ask for your tickets @Kitty Carmel. :)

I enjoy playing the Monopoly game and even if I never win any big prizes it's still fun to win free things. And I never buy anything but what I normally buy there so it's not like I'm going out of my way to play the game.

I have it laid out on my dining room table and I need to paste the things where they belong.

Do you even get some if you didn't buy a product that has the monopoly game thingy under it?

How do they determine how many you get? @Babs Hunt ?

What do you do with the enter the sweepstakes ones?

Yes, you should get some (unless they changed this) just for buying your groceries. The product with the monopoly sticker under it usually gives you extra tickets.

I'm not sure how they determine that Chrissy but sometimes over here they will even advertise in their ads that you will get double tickets if you buy on a certain day too.

On your sweepstakes ticket there should be a website that you log into to enter.
