Although most of the media is still going on about Russian collusion, it is beginning to look like there might be a scandal brewing at the FBI, according to the New York Post. We'll see whether they are able to shove it under the table.
Peripherally related, the judge in the Michael Cohen case officiated at George Soros' wedding, according to the Washington Times. This whole thing is incestuous, and we're supposed to think it's all on the up and up.
@Ken Anderson Not up on this FBI business, but suspect intuitively it is aimed at discrediting Trump, via some sort of subterfuge. Am I close? Frank
I read the link and still, there is no reference to the fact that during that "4 hour" interview Hillary had with the FBI, why wasn't the head of the FBI, J. Comey , present of the high profile interview? The answer is ridiculously simple. Comey already knew the outcome prior to the staged coffee klatch and also knew what his response was going to be to the American public. Clearing Hillary would further her campaign for a possible shoe in for the presidency but unfortunately for Comey, his plan was eroding and he had to later state that some other evidence was brought to light which reopened the investigation and temporarily covered J.Comey's rear end. To me, it still sounds like there was a little blackmail afoot because within a couple of days, the then head of the FBI, came out and said all is well and Hillary was again exonerated from any guilt.
According to something I heard on the radio, the decision to exonerate Hillary had been made prior to any investigation, and after the interview, the investigation was declared closed. During an investigation of Anthony Weiner, materials were discovered that had been forwarded to his laptop from Hillary by Weiner's wife. Comey then had to made the announcement that the investigation was re-opened since New York state officials had made that discovery and forwarded to the FBI. Too many people knew about the info. Comey figured he had to go through the motions of a sham investigation so the her Presidency wouldn't be clouded by allegations after she was elected. He wanted to make sure that she wouldn't have to go through what Trump is now going through with a Special Prosecutor. He thought he was doing her a favor by re-opening the investigation and then declaring her de facto "not guilty", but he probably did more to sway the election than anyone.
