John Campbell has published a YouTube video on the subject of the Semmelweis Reflex, which is a concept in medicine and elsewhere in which the status quo cannot be challenged. We saw this widely used during the Covid spread. As I have said before, they knew that masks and hand sanitizer did nothing to prevent the spread of viruses in public places as it had been studied and reported during the flu epidemic that occurred during the Obama Administration. CDC even published the report that wasn't, and probably still isn't available to the general public. The authorities pushed the idea anyway, as it would be believed (and still is) by the public and many health authorities. Some hospitals are even now re-instituting mask mandates for patients and staff. It was also seen in the resistance, and even outright banning of remedies that were suspected--or even known--to work against the virus such as hydroxychloroquine/zinc and ivermectin. Thousands of lives could have been saved if those remedies had ben allowed. Intubation WAS allowed because it was a standard treatment for respiratory distress, and most of the patients on respirators died. On a more minor note, I have seen and battled similar issues on things known for years to spread infections in hospitals, such as doctor's ties and lab coats, both of which have been shown to spread infection but are still in common use, or were when I left hospital work. Even when studies showing the problems to hospital infection control directors, they are ignored in favor of the status quo. If you have the time to view a 36 minute video, here it is:
