This one by the Goons from 1956 was on the B side of a disc of which I can't recall the A side lol, I liked it's craziness. This one from 1966 was funny as well it reached No 4 in the charts here in the UK
This is one that I remember enjoying when I was young. It is about a child who gets to go all by himself and get a chocolate ice cream cone. (Kids could do that , back in the old days) Some of you that are my age group will probably remember this song from when you were young, too, and the rest of you who are just now hearing it will enjoying it , too. I don't remember this guy as being a well-known singer; but he definitely adds to the song with his yodeling, which we do not often hear much of anymore.
Hehe Okay... this is one of those songs where I have to sit back and say "Who comes UP with these things?!" But someone did and I wouldn't even venture a guess as to why. Careful, it'll stick in your head all day and .. well that's scary!
I have a P.S. to this... Be careful if this song *does* stick in your head all day. I was working all morning so finally got to my shower a little while ago. How was I to know that when I was in there belting out "I Eat Cannibals" my daughter would be in the area of the bathroom door and hear me? Oy! "Uh, Mom, everything alright in there?" hehe
Hehe I enjoyed that... and yep, that's silly for sure. I've not heard of the Goons before now... quite a distinctive voice, isn't it?

One I picked up from one of my older brothers: "Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight?" and another I liked was "The Tennessee Birdwalk."
