Thank you! I was lucky to have a friend living right in the path of the 2017 eclipse and on the west coast USA where it first happened. I would have never fought the crowds otherwise. People were there from all over the world and had planned for years for this event. Many were scientist but there were several thousand there to party and the whole place was like Woodstock. My friend invited a retired NASA scientist to set up his half million dollar computer video equipment on her private patio. He showed me the camera settings to use and also best lens and filter to use to prevent sensor burning. He uses the same set up to study sunspots for NASA. Without his help this photo would not exist.
