In support of my husband's grade school classmate, we attended a musical retro concert the other Saturday. The concert featured popular songs of the 70s and 80s. The classmate is Eva Vivar, a singer and part time actress during those times. Her most popular contemporary, Darius Razon, staged the concert and had invited Eva and their other singer friends. The concert was fully booked and I was just lucky to get the last 2 available tickets. It was a fun concert because the performers were talking like they personally know the audience. And of course most of those who attended were seniors who could relate to the old songs. That was my first experience of a musical concert and I would say it is worth the money we paid for the tickets. Here is the finale. Eva is the one in the full red gown, wearing eyeglasses.
