I miss both former wives, but for different reasons. They were very different from one another. At my age I will not be engaging in a serious relationship despite ladies telling me I look so much younger than my 84 years. Like Clint Eastwood said "A man has got to know his limitations".
Dont have any former wives.. married to same woman for 34 years.. that is longer than some lifers get. Know what you mean about the affection.. that dies gradually the longer you are together.. sadly.
Things do change in those "departments" the older you get...and some health problems start interfering in those areas too. That's when you just have to start thinking outside the box and finding different ways to ways to express that affection and intimacy. Touch is still very important no matter how old you get...and loving words and acts, etc. are always great ways to show affection and intimacy too. We just have to get more creative in these areas as we get older and the blessing is we usually have much more time to do just that.
