    Third and last buy 1 get 1 for August, used for lunch today, Riverside Hotel. There were several dozen other big offerings which I passed up. My first go-around:

    Rainbow Trout, two pieces; baked Salmon, two pieces; Chicken Picatta, one piece, Asian Style Wings, two; Roast Pork Loin, one piece; one Pot Sticker.

    My second helping was sparser, thus not pictured, one more each of Trout and Salmon, dipperful of Beef Terragon. My wife surprised me with dessert:

    A most tasty and rich Cheesecake! At that point, I turned in my silverware! The price for lunch is $10.99, which of course includes drink of your choice. So, the repast for us both was a total of $10.99 (plus tax). Is such fare available so reasonably in your neck of the woods? Even at 10.99 EACH, it's a steal! Frank

    EDIT: I know, I know, no veggies! Them's I eat daily at home.

    Who needs veggies when you have all that great protein? And for sure the dessert meets the criteria for including other food group. Best maybe enjoying a meal with your wife that you don't have to make & at a price that doesn't destroy your bank account. You did eat at the Riverside in Laughlin right?

    We seldom go to buffets unless we are at a casino or something. A couple of times a year we get comps from the Hollywood Casino for freebies, so we take them up on the free campground and buffets. We load up the motorhome and spend a couple of days on the Mississippi coast. My husband plays poker in the casino, and I lounge around and read or go shopping.

    When the kids were younger, we used to go to different buffets because everyone could get what they personally wanted. Then, the Chinese Buffets became popular and we never ate at another type of restaurant after that.

    @Frank Sanoica The food looks delicious. Glad you enjoyed yourself. I don't think I would ever choose a dessert without chocolate though.

    @Bob Kirk

    Riverside it was! Given the large number of restaurants within the casino hotels, there are actually few stand-alone ones in Laughlin. Couple of pizza joints, that sort of thing. Riverside alone has 7 or 8 restaurants of it's own, ranging from breakfast-type, Cinnabon, Pizza Hut, Fatburger, Prime Rib Room, Riverview Cafe, Buffet, Sidewalk Cafe, it never gets boring. Prices are generally a bit high for us, but 2 for 1 buffets are hard to ignore!
