Talk show host Art Bell maintained that human lifespan was limited because we could only deal with so much change in one lifetime. Things have gotten screwed up in recent decades, as too much change is happening in our extended lifetimes.
I enjoyed the article, but wish I hadn't read the comments. One of the items was "Too Old To Put Up With BS," and the supporting story was of a woman in her 60s who left her husband and went to a retirement community to live. The top comments were directed at her: -You go girl!! -If she is reading this know that you are fu**ing incredible and inspiring for a young woman such as myself -What a gutsy person! Wish you all the best! -You got us all rooting for you. -You are an ACTUAL heroine and icon! It's as trite as it is predictable. And actual icon, huh?
