Twilight on the Trail, 1936 There *IS* a tree in this song. Last verse. This song always reminds me of a big tall lonesome pine right on top of the highest hill on the goat farm property. It stood well above the other trees, which were all hardwoods, and died long ago, but every time I hear it I think of that old tree.
The Timberjack song is one that I remember from my teenage years, and I didn’t know that it was also a movie, or if I have seen it, then I forgot about it. But when looking for the song, I found this version with the opening scenes of the movie, and now I would like to see the move. It was made in Montana at Glacier National Park, so I am sure that there will be awesome mountain scenery in this movie.
