What kept you from learning a marketable skill Thomas and how have you paid for your living up to now?

I've always considered "seller's remorse" as one of the top regrets.......could have gotten more, should have waited, might have gotten.....etc. Always past. I chose to "Stand" with 16, and the next card was a "5", could've had 21.

No one I talk with understands this concept. It's always what "might've been" in their minds. In mine, it's predict with accuracy the value of that next card; IOW, the past is dead, the future holds an answer.

Interesting consideration! In my case, I taught myself many skills, welding, operating metal-working machinery, carpentry, hydraulics, mechanical repair, and machine design, Millwright. They likely could be used as "salable" abilities, but my focus was always on doing these things as part of the pursuit of my "play time", hobbies, if you will. I swore I would never run a lathe to make a living!

I have NO Trade Type Marketable skills. I can barely hammer a nail . Carpentry, Plumbing, Auto Mechanics are beyond me.College gave me some knowledge of many things but my two successful careers were possible because of my PEOPLE SKILLS.

Life's "pains", experienced by all of us to one degree or another, may be classified after due deliberation, listing them in order of "painful regrets".

Invariably, I scratch a bunch off my list.

I regret not fighting back with those who picked on me in high school.

However, the one who picked on me the most died several years ago.

    I have no remorse!

I regret not having a proper childhood.

I regret not growing up with a father.

I regret blaming my mother all my life for sending me to boarding school.

One leads in succession to the next, from top down? The last, is a reversal in thought: you blamed your mother all your life, and regret having done so. Why the regret?
