I learned today, not to drink too much on a holiday. If you a had any idea as to how many times I had to retype this, you'd know what I am talking about. Shameful.
I learned that if an earthquake is strong enough (over 7, I think) to throw someone in the air, it's because it's strength exceeds the strength of gravity.
What i learned yesterday. I learned that there is a person with the same first and last name as me. To make a long story longer.. Over the last couple of years, i've received messages from an older lady on messenger, i don't recall excepting a request. Her messages were always conversations as if she knew me, i never responded. Yesterday, was another message, asking if i was this person, referring to my first and last name, and this time, she included a maiden name, which was not my maiden name. This time i replied, and told her i was not that person. Mystery solved.....Can you imagine another me in this world. .
I learned that my air fryer has a "dehydrator" function and I can make dehydrated fruit or jerky. Who knew?? (Not that I ever will. )
Oh, and I learned a new word today... "brassicas." It means cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, etc.
What I learned to day is what 'brassicas' is which lead to 'genus' (in philosophical and general use) a class of things that have common characteristics and that can be divided into subordinate kinds. Thanks @Beth Gallagher I also expanded my vocabulary a tab bit.
I just learned that 2 people didn't know the word Brassicas, which I've known the meaning of since school...
@Micki Pembroke That is really unique!! It's not as though your name is Sara Smith or any other names which are common.
