I am dependent on the attached
I am dependent on a Walker/Transporter and can get in and out of the chair by my self
I am dependent on a Walker/Transporter and though I can get up and down from the seat my self I must be careful and lock the wheelsbrcause my legs are so unstable due to RA & Neuropathy.

Same concept, shorter wheelbase, seats two also, but not side by side. In retrospect, this may be what I originally saw and inspected closely a number of years ago. Today, we see a lot of the other.

Cheers for the input, i'll take that into consideration. People I know in wheelchairs mostly use wooden boards to get in/out, so would something such as a removeable seat be heading in the right direction, or something else?

I don't know Chris. I'd have to have one in the house where I could study it. Just briefly dealt with them, and I don't remember exactly what the problem was, just that it was always a problem helping someone get in and out.

    Here's a mobility machine I could get behind. $3500 at Amazon.com
