Glad I saw that. I wondered if it was okay to bring something forward.

Also, just saw a post about your wife feeling much better (shopping). Glad to hear it. Back pain is something I fear, after an experience years ago.

I'd much rather someone reply to an old thread than start a new one on the same topic, as long as they actually had something to add to it, of course. In fact, when I notice a new thread on a topic that has already been discussed, I often merge the two.

Thank you. She's feeling much better now. The back pain is gone, except for that caused by the surgical wound itself.

I participate in online forums because they're there.

Thinking about why I'll start a thread that I know not many will read.

Things like sports and movies are my passion, but they don't interest everyone.

No problem. I mostly start one just to finish thoughts and ideas that I have.

    Example:

I'm watching an old movie and an actor or actress will appear and this will
start the wheels turning...'Where have I seen them before', 'What's their name', etc.

So I open a 'note' with my guesses, a list as it were, of movies, names, etc.
This leads to other movies, actors, more movies, and it goes on and on.

When I get to a point that makes 'some' sense to me, I'll copy, give it a title
    and post it.

So what I post is mostly to complete a circle that has to be finished.

I like online forums because I can interact with people while sitting in my PJs with my hair all stringy and no one is the wiser. :p

Why did you join this senior’s forum
I joined to share about female fitness
And establish a women’s fitness quorum
My photos and humor as you bore witness
Went down in flames as improper decorum

So after testing the waters and finding warm luke
I decided my post my stories were best told in prose
As very few gave two fat rat’s tails or a buzzard’s puke
About my stories or music that caused most to doze
I bow to the thread about Phechet, the man the Duke

I joined this forum out of curiosity, I stayed because of Prose. :p

I have been known to show a quarter of an inch of brunette smarts until I reorder my product from Amazon.
