I have 2-- Skippy Natural chunky and Peter Pan Chunky
Peter Pan Creamy
I try not to allow peanut butter in the house. It never lasts long there.
Either Jif or Peter Pan... always smooth. My husband is the peanut butter hound and he hates chunky. I've tried the "natural" peanut butters but I hate that inch of oil that has to be re-incorporated each time.
we like jif or Skippy or Peter pan...
I like creamy...hubs likes chunky
I don't know about a brand, but I prefer chunky peanut butter. I haven't liked any of the more natural, healthy brands that I've tried. It seems that they always have oil on the top, and everything else dry. When I try to mix the oil in with the dry peanut butter, it doesn't mix well. Way too much trouble. I rarely buy peanut butter though, because I eat too much of it.
Any brand really both chunky and creamy with blueberry preserves on toast in the morning.
Frankly, I find the creamy Shop Rite brand to be absolutely delicious. I don't eat it much, but I think in my lifetime I've tried them all and this one is terrific. It isn't too heavy or sweet and smooth as silk.
One reason I prefer smooth over chunky. It tears up the regular bread when spreading. Adding more is an overkill of the peanuts.
If you lather it on heavily it doesn't tear the bread.
I like the smooth kind. I really haven't found any bad brands.
