I was contemplating buying a Yurt. Say a 15-footer...that would give me about 177 square feet of living space!

What is the property tax rate on a Yurt?

In Maine, I am pretty sure that a Yurt would be considered a temporary/movable structure, and not subject to property taxes. Some people keep their camps up on blocks in order to avoid having to pay property taxes on the building.

I think it's the same here. They're classed as holiday homes.
