Why do some men choose to have a beard. Is it because you don't like shaving ? Isn't it hot in the summer ? What about the style of beard, do you think about that ? Do you try different styles before you settle on one ? Let me know .......................
I don't have one, not even a moustache. No waxing upper lip for me. I do like a little facial hair on a man but not a long scraggly beard. My hubby never had one though.
I agree ! A beard looks better trimmed There is a beard look that I just cannot understand - why .......I'll keep that to meself I do like a tash though
Lol, I'm probably thinking the same thing, Patsy. As lomg as it's not very full "tash" or pencil thin....agree.
I'll have to ask my husband when he gets in why he has his beard Patsy. I'm not a fan of full beards..his beard is similar to the one in the second picture...but it's grey now.....sophisticated he calls it. he grows it and keeps it for a couple of years then shaves it off for a while , and on we go in this way every few years I like him better without his beard, and tbh it seems to take him a lot longer in the morning to get ready with the beard than without. He has to carefully trim and shave around it to keep it really neat. I don't see the point at all...
@Holly Saunders - interesting post. Fabs has never had a beard, he has a tash and he must keep that I understand shaving must be a pain, but must be nice to feel the air on all yer face too In this heat I'd go barmy
@Holly Saunders - Be sure to ask him won't you (thought you would have by now ) I think a beard can be ageing - look at Simon Cowell (on second thoughts )
My son has had a look similar to the one that I posted, not Travolta's, lol....even though he's 40 if he had one like that I'd smack his head. He looks good with it, I think. He's only had it the last few years but I hope he keeps it.
The guy in the avatar is really me and that's the beard I have. Why? Because for some reason, every time I clean shave my face breaks out in a bad rash. I tried all kinds of remedy's, to no avail. So, it made more sense and cost less money and time to quit shaving. Anyway, it pays off in the winter, if I go out.
