This is not to evade the question but I just want to relate about my father-in-law. He sleeps in his briefs and usually he is already in his sleeping attire when watching tv inside their bedroom. There was a time when unexpected guests arrived and were in the living room when my father-in-law came out of the bedroom on his way to the bathroom. You can imagine the uproar, everybody was laughing and my father-in-law was not really embarrassed at all for he was also laughing out loud.
Reminds me of my Mother in law Corie - she said on her wedding night she was in bed and her Hubby was getting undressed. He stood there in his 'long johns' and she said to him 'Well if I'd known you looked like that - I'd have thought twice !' They call them 'lounge' pants so that's what I do. Bought them at the Disney store at mall. Also have a pair with South Park characters on them.
A short nightie, even in winter. I do have flannel jammie bottoms but I only put them on when I get out of bed. Can't sleep in bottoms.
