It seems that many of us still have things we wish we could do. @Chrissy Page you should go for it. It's now or never. After thinking about it I realize that I've done most of the important things I wanted to do, and so much more. I never got to be a librarian, but I did acquire 19 years of college, and paid for it as I went, so the government lost out on me. Ha Ha! Although I didn't want children, I got to raise five of them. My two boys, one adopted boy, and two stepdaughters. I'm so glad I didn't miss out on that experience. I wanted to live a rich lifestyle. Oh well can't have everything, but I did learn how to do whatever is nessasary to live out in the back of nowhere. I even learned how to water ski three years before I learned to swim. As a child I lived on farms, so of course I wanted to live in a big city. Since then Houston has become one of our largest cities, and I can't wait to move away from all the hustle. I wanted to be single all my life, or at least until I was 30ish. (You know, OLD) Instead I married at 13, and didn't get to be a single person until I turned 63. Talk about backwards! Now at 64, the world is my oyster, but I don't like oysters. Oh well, now I guess it's time to see if I can find a few more challenges.
I love oysters! Maybe you can try that Ina....learn to love oysters! I never thought I would love raw fish but I do!
@Ina I. Wonder , if I move to my daughter's house I will go for it. I don't know how much a train trip like one I'm thinking of is but I could have that money saved in a few months. I have to be careful of saving too much money because anything major medical could take it all. So I will be Spending it. My kids really don't need an inheritance so might as well spend spend spend. There is an awesome church by my daughter, it's not catholic but it's fun so may join that and meet people and maybe even volunteer my time and maybe even help some children that don't have money for school supplies or a nice Christmas....little things like that. Plus the 12 year old will be starting HS and I'll have 4 years of school projects to work on. I've always been the school project maker if it involved art. One more plus...the weather is so much better on the coast!
I would like to do the following: be in a movie Sing professionally be a voice in an animated movie live a self sufficient lifestyle own a large rv and tour the US
Well I'm going to have to put that age at 66 for me @Ina I. Wonder. Here's what I'd do if there were no limits. I'd become a Detective and travel all over the world solving Cold Cases.
Well I'm hoping Frank doesn't have a plane @Shirley Martin...if he does and you are going to jump without a parachute...does that mean you have a death wish!
@Babs Hunt , Ina said that I could do no harm to myself or others so I wouldn't get hurt when I jump out of the airplane without a parachute. I guess I would wear a cape and glide to the ground. But I can't jump out of @Frank Sanoica 's plane because he said he would be by himself.
