Having Learned About Forums

First one I partook of, it seemed folks interacted pretty much like "in real life". Gradually, I learned of the little "pitfalls" skulking about. I naturally thought gripes would be resolved as I had always seen them resolved: a guy or gal resents, disagrees, finds fault with, another guy or gal, so they will likely resolve the differences, right?

Doesn't work like that, I found out. Skullduggery abounds "behind the scenes", causing instead a worsening of distance between dissenters, rather than resolving discord.

Cutting to the "chase", I evidently came here with a clearly defined "reputation" preceding me. Meaning, I should be carefully watched, viewed with suspicion, if you will. Well, I haven't detected that, but rest assured, I am aware of the subterfuge, which I hate.

We've heard of reverting back to childhood, I think all of us has, at one point or another. I do it a lot. Guilty. But not for purpose of "looking better" or "getting over on". I do it because I enjoy comparing the ways I thought and perceived, to the ways prevailing now, in old age.

There you have "what's happening" in my Forum Life, if such a thing exists. Like it or not. This is how I see it.

What really matters, is the Election, coming up. I express now gratitude for everyone's (almost) being as gracious as they have, and accepting of and questioning the accuracy of, "my reputation".

Ah yes.............love! Isn't it absolutely grand? I do hope that you two do not mind an onlooker for it is seldom that I have observed such a wonderful exhibition of playful obstinance.
For your listening pleasure I have found something quite well suited for such a spectacular event.


Now, perhaps I should leave you two alone for when the sound of beating hearts and heavy breathing is apparent between two such as yourselves, it is time for one and all to allow the love birds to do whatever they wish to do without any onlookers.

Hmmm........does not forgiveness include the ability to no longer dwell on, or for that matter, ever bring the deed to the surface anew?

Oh the travesties of the human existance to forever be trapped with memories too long nearly forgotten but to be aroused with a need for an ambiguous rebirth. How long to dwell in such mire that I can be freed to the skies again that in spirit I might fly among the Angels that surround the good?
But nay, the memories of the past demand that I must be brought to the very depths of darkness; that I might be forgotten also by those more fortunate than I to have never been slain in soul.
Yea, to err not! Error need not be so much the affliction but a bitter savor of things past whose odor doth inflict it's harm not only to ourselves but for others loved, so err not anew for the affliction hath healed for sweet, yea, for sweet repose that I might sleep softly til morrows purity of light.

But even with a new light, I breath slowly and carefully, for the night cometh again with bitter memories of today.

Will do. Some of this reminds me of the of the old Chipmunks Christmas Song. "Whaddaya mean I'm off-key", (squabbling) until Ross Bagdaserian declared an end to it.
