Russia has warned citizens that a nuclear war with the West could be imminent - sparked by clashes in the Middle East. Zvezda, a nationwide TV service run by the country’s Ministry of Defence, said last week, ‘Schizophrenics from America are sharpening nuclear weapons for Moscow.’ Read more: Yahoo News UK
Not an expert in this but I'm guessing if that happens that will leave the Middle East in power. Nevermind....I don't know what I'm talking about here.
‘Schizophrenics from America are sharpening nuclear weapons for Moscow.’ the only thing Obama is sharpening is his golf game. I don't see either side having a first strike advantage here. Putin knows all to well what's stalking him from our side. if its the Hydrogen that's a world killer
My husband was telling me the other night about the continual news on the bickering of US and Russia on the Syria issue. US has been siding with the rebels while Russia is siding with the government of president Assad. Being against each other, bad blood is felt between the 2 countries. My husband even said that there is a possibility of a war between the 2 superpowers just because of the issue in Syria. Well, I just want to say that this thread did not surprise me.
These bickerings between superpowers have been going on ever since the extreme might of nuclear bombs was demonstrated in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Whether those events were justified or not is not the issue. The issue is that the world saw, and has remembered, and fears, the possibility of nukes used again. It ain't going to happen. No idiot, no matter how backward, no Kim Jong Il or whatever his name is, will ever have the ability to press the button. Let's emphasize, rather, improving the state of existence of far too many humans upon this Earth. Frank
Anyone in their right mind would not want a nuclear war but that does not stop the crazy people from saying we need to shoot down Russian plane [Hillary] or attack Assad government who is fighting ISIS [Kerry] . With these crazy people another world war might be closer than you think.
@Martin Alonzo Crazy people is the key phrase. Either we have elected crazy leaders, or they took power in some other way, or must be inherently crazy to want to assume leadership.
