and that's exactly how I look after a night of memories, LOL! Unhinged as one of my fave people called it, heehee!!
I bought my second Sleep Number bed last year, and last week when I was sick my girl Patricia came to visit, and she just crawled up in bed with me so I didn't have to get up. Well, after a couple of hours I got tired and achy. So I turned on the vibrator function. Patricia embrassed herself and made me have a laughing coughing fit by blurting out, "Can I have your bed when your gone?" She's a redhead, so she turned very red, which made me laugh even harder. It took me a good five minutes to get her to understand that I did really know she didn't mean it in a bad way. But I did tell her she could have it. They are pretty expensive, and I wouldn't want the bed to go to waste. My queen size bed was $6,300., and throwing it away would be wasteful in my opinion.
Yep, my daughter bought a mattress for $8,000 a few years ago and I don't think it even vibrates...think it's one of those numbered ones where each side can make it as hard or soft as they like. If it vibrates, next time I watch her boys I'll try it out.
@Shirley Martin you must have woke up in a chipper mood. I won't even ask. I'll be a good girl. @Chrissy Page your daughter's bed probably does have that function if it's not too old. My queen size has individual chambers too. The first one we bought right after they came out. They were much cheaper then. We gave around $2,500 for a CA King size, and I got that as a trade in for it when I bought this one. Unlike this one, there was no vibration, no up and down for the back rest or for the legs. When I get leg craps, raising my legs seems to help.
What a wonderful story Ina, I'm so glad you are passing on, not just a bed, but your warm, loving compassion to your little grand-daughter
Golden Girls remembered: They all have the flu, and fight, fight, fight. Dorothy steals Blanches heating pad and Blanche finds her on the couch all snuggled in, with an electric cord running out at the end of the couch. Blanche asks Dorothy if she's seen her heating pad. Dorothy says no. Blanche looks at the cord, and says if that isn't my heating pad you have, then I'd like to know what "other" electrical appliance you are using under there??
lol ladies! @Ina I. Wonder , all I know it's a CA.King an Stoney can each adjust their own side. They bought it a few years ago. I've been in her room while she's putting clothes away and I'll sit on her bed while talking to her but I've never felt anything different or worth that much money.
