I've watched every Sherlock Holmes I can find on Youtube @Tim Burr and yes, that is neat decor for a kitchen for sure I think my fave of all time from Sherlock is The Hound of the Baskervilles. Jeremy Brett is a good Sherlock, and I did love old Basil as well I've seen the new ones with Downey Jr. and Bennedict Cumberbatch, but something about the old ones get my #1 vote
Ok, I should put my fave Black and White. I have several but I'll pick just one for now Right now, I am thinking of Key Largo w/Bogie and Bacall
He was good in that for sure. Sherlock was supposed to be very eccentric (I think that's the right word) or odd too Brett is unique. I liked that Watson too, I know his name, cannot think of it offhand
That's right he was unique and fitted the role perfectly I did like Watson, can't think of his name either - ha ha
This is a wonderful movie. One of my fave parts was where Roddy jumped in to save momma and they both were sick in bed awhile. Good/Excellent choice @Holly Saunders
This was a fabulous movie. Who would have thought a bunch of guys, just stuck in a jury room would be a great flic!!
It's been so long since I've watched some of the ones mentioned on here....something to do when I'm bored. It's funny that I don't really do anything but I'm seldom bored....thank goodness for that.
Jane Eyre is like, omgosh, one of my faves, just watched it again with Joan Fontaine as the adult Jane Eyre. Yes, Elizabeth, wasn't she gorgeous even as a little girl Orson Welles was wonderful in that.
It's hard for me to concentrate on a whole movie anymore. I've seen so many over the years, and LOVE them, remember them. I have to be in just the right mood to watch TV/movies. At christmas time, I have no problem watching the old ones though, like Scrooge, It's a Wonderful Life
