So far, I haven't had any trouble uploading photos. I do sometimes have trouble quoting, but only if I had just quoted someone else in the same thread. Then, sometimes I can't get it to post the second quote unless I log out and log back in again. That is a quirk but I don't know if it's on the part of the forum, my computer cache, or something else. Sometimes I have trouble posting. When I click to Post a Reply, nothing happens, but that seems to be connected to the overall Internet problem, as this has been only for the past week or so. I have been in touch with tech support but I don't know if it's anything they can fix on their end.
But are you on a iPad? I just started having problems uploading after my iOS 10 update on my iPad. I didn't update my iPhone and I could load that same photo from my iPhone that I couldn't from my iPad. @Holly Saunders , what is that a photo of?
No I didn't use my Ipad this is on my Mac...I could try and post a picture from my ipad if you like. @Chrissy Page the picture is of the entrance to a cellar bar in Spain....
Yes, preferably a screenshot you've cropped the top off for example. If that's too much of a pain, then just any screenshot...think that's where I had the most problems. That's cool, I figured it was something like that with the random objects.
So I'm not alone. I tried to upload photos this morning several times and got that the file was too big. I cropped them but couldn't get them all to upload only three. I might try again tomorrow before I start Phase II of the bedroom I'm painting.
Ok, I see it works for you...why isn't it big? Without me having to click on it..are you doing upload a file? Then choose file from your screenshots or camera roll? I have the iPad Air. The old one....
Ok, now it worked....sometimes does, sometimes doesn't. But I deleted it because even though it was a screenshot, it seemed "live" and I could click on something in my screenshot and it took me there.....so weird.

Ok, it might be different. I give up right now...I've never posted a screen shot or photo and then be able to touch it where it said mail at the top and it went to my mail....holy moly and yikes!!
There are limits on file size. The default size or photos taken by cameras is too large to be displayed on a computer screen anyhow, so I would be paying for server space that is wasted. If you reduce images to 800-pixel width, that should reduce the file size to be acceptable.
