It's possible but doesn't mean rigging. I worked on these types of machines and I wouldn't trust them. If not calibrated right, your vote could go to the person on the next line.

That's why counties spent thousands of dollars for us to check the machines before an election.

I suppose they could be rigged on purpose but it would involve the county clerks office and board of elections.

After we finished a machine it was locked. So were the ones that counted ballots. A zero tape and locked. Also your signature on the ones you did. It was a detailed process.

this was a good read, set my mind at ease @Chrissy Page I wondered if they were keeping good tabs on the voting. I did mine by mail/hand, so no machine involved. I don't have a clue how they count them though do you?

I'm confused, how are people able to use machines to vote now?? I thought people had to wait until November 8? I thought the only voting done earlier was the mail-in ballots? Or I think their called absentee??

I do want to say I do believe Hillary and her minions will try anything to win this election. I am still wondering what her "motive" was on going to an adele concert, LOL! Get votes from music-lovers??

There's different ways of counting. I never counted unless they were short handed.

I worked for Election Systems and Software 10 years ago so all the machines are a jumbled mess in my mind.

I'm sure there are different machines now anyway.

There is also early voting which is differnt from mail in ballot voting. We could early vote here in California a couple weeks ago but I'm not sure.

I'm also very glad not to be working in this election. They were stressful enough even when it wasn't a presidential year.

Thanks Chrissy, I didn't know there was early voting;) I think since things area jumbled mess, sure makes it easier for thieves to snatch our votes and change them, however they do it. Seems hillary and her clan are good at "fixing" up emails, or making them disappear, so same with votes hey;)

There is more than you can imagine that goes on for weeks prior to voting. It's a big effort and so many things go wrong legitimately that I'm sure a little fraud mixed in wouldn't even be noticed.

I was in a lot of county buildings throughout the states. Some were better than others. Two I'm sure of had some
Problems and the one involved employees.

The machines weren't that trustworthy either in my opinion. Doing maintenance on the automark was more of a Money making scam for ES&S than anything else. We opened up these machines that really had no problems
And then caused more problems, lol.

The county paid ES&S $1500 a day for whatever I did, sometimes we didn't do much at all but drive from one location to another. There were a few people working each county depending on the size. So multiply the $1500 by at least 5-6. And this went on for weeks before the actual election.

I loved that job though...got to travel for free all over and make more money than I ever could imagine.

It was quite the scam all around....

That job saved my sorry a** when I ran out of my savings and wasn't old enough to get my widows
Benefits. I made enough in about 2 months to last me a year.

So much waste in government... I saw a small aspect of it.

I was just going to say before I read that last part where you started out "I loved that job";) I think that sounds really exciting, to be sort of on the front-lines:) I thrived on "busy" jobs, always did anyway, the faster the pace the better. Time flew, always something going on, crisis, fix this, and that:) Woohoo! I thought about volunteering here at our Republican headquarters, then I wasn't sure I wanted to be around "certain" republicans, so I just forgot about it.
