Although the New York Times buried the story deep within its publication, they are reporting that the FBI has spend much of the summer investigating Hillary Clinton's allegation of a Russian role in the U.S. presidential elections, and have found nothing linking Donald Trump to Russia. Must have been missed by the Hillary supporters because that's all they're yakking about on the other forum. Diverting attention from the Weiner emails.
This doesn't surprise, but it does surprise me they haven't "made something up" like @Gary Ridenour commented on so well You know, if there isn't any news that suits the msm, than go ahead and make something up. With that said, I'm pretty disgusted with the "fake stories" handed out by both sides. Some are hilariously funny, but I know the World is watching, and I hate to have us earn any further disrespect
Well, I don't think a lot of people read as much as they should, I sure don't, but getting better thanks to this forum. I've thought all along if people would listen with open minds, read with open minds, they would have way more info and not make a mistake in a vote.
I don't have a good handle on the msm, and why they have been so again Clinton, but I think it was when I was reading on maybe, Wikileaks, or about them. News stands for whoever they thing the winner will be, or whoever "maybe" is pulling the most strings. I don't think anyone believe Donald Trump would ever make it. Those predictors, or prejudice folks were wrong. Putting it mildly I am
@Ken Anderson , it says I have to log in to read the article. Can you copy part of it and post it here?
That's odd. I haver never had a NY Times login but it doesn't ask me for one. I can't post more than a snippet of an article here because of fair use, but you can find it in text form here.
It turns out that the John Podesta email dump that Wikileaks published was obtained through phishing, which is not actually hacking. He received an official-looking email telling him that his email account had been compromised and a warning that he should change his password. He forwarded it to his IT guy who responded, telling him (erroneously) that it was legit. So Podesta clicked the supplied link, which did take him to the page where he could change his password, but it also sent a copy of his new password to the people who originated the phishing email. I suppose that could have been the Russians, but it's a pretty basic scam, the sort of thing that we worry that our mothers or grandmothers might get taken in by. All the more reason why government emails should remain on a government server.
Trump is connected to the Russians Someone once said; Tell a big lie, tell it often enough and they will believe it. Adolf Hitler
I know he's done business with probably every country hasn't he? Are you saying you think he has illegal connections? I think Trump wants good relationships, as good as they can be anyway. I think we should have good relationships with other countries if we can, just not become part of. I am for keeping our country separate. I never liked the new world order idea, and that's from my biblical background.
I think he's pointing out that even though something might not be true, when it is repeated over and over, some people will come to believe it.
Oh thanks @Ken Anderson I wondered later if I didn't get it the way it was meant I didn't think that sounded like @Martin Alonzo
