In high school I worked after school sacking groceries at Kroger. Then I spent 4 years in the USAF. My first job after that was selling Worldbook encyclopedias. I sold one set in 2 weeks, then got a job in the Norge factory on the assembly line as an inspector. Whirlpool bought the factory from Norge in 1966. I worked on the assembly line, went to an in house welding school and in 1968 got into the Tool & Die apprentice program. I remained a tool & die maker until I retired in 2007 Now I work at home for my wife! Hardest darn job I ever had!!!
I thought I had worked a lot of jobs during my "working years", until I looked at information about Col. Sanders.........the old Kentucky Fried Chicken dude. Wow, did he "job hop"!
Just from memory....He was 65 or so when he started his "chicken stand". When he sold the business, he was to get 1 cent for each piece of chicken sold. It doesn't sound like much till you start counting....
